We’re tackling the challenge of plastic packaging pollution head-on with solutions designed to reduce waste and promote sustainability. At MAGNO, we blend innovation and collaboration to transform packaging systems and pave the way for a greener, more responsible future.
Practice Abstracts – Batch 1 (M13)
This deliverable contains the first set of Practice Abstracts (PAs) – four out of 10 in total – from the MAGNO project.
A PA is a short summary that describes useful learnings, information, or ideas that practitioners can use outside of the project that will also offer the main takeaways of the project in a simplified manner to facilitate their adoption. The goal of these documents is to close the gap between the project results and project audiences as well as raising awareness and disseminate project results. Thus, these PAs have been designed following the brand guidelines of the project and to be integrated into the Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation plans.
The four PAs that are included in this first batch deliverable are focused on these topics:
1. Human, environmental and economic impact of Plastics and Microplastics from Food Packaging (UOB).
2. MAGNO Circular Approach to Adapt Linear into Circular Approaches (HOLOSS).
3. Artificial intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processors to support research in the food packaging Sector (IDE).
4. Cost effective business models: Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) as preliminary MAGNO Ideal Business Model (KVC).
This batch has been built upon best practices and lessons learned out of the implementation of C&D and Exploitation strategies to allocate these four PAs within those strategies. Further, the next 6 PAs will be elaborated to allow each of project partners to put forward their key project outputs without the prejudice that the project decides to develop an additional number to the baseline set by Grant Agreement.
