MAGNO will join an upcoming episode of the Plastic.Climate.Future podcast, a platform dedicated to fostering constructive dialogue at the intersection of plastics and climate. The project will be represented by Ignacio Fernández-Pacheco, MAGNO’s coordinator, who will take part in the recording on 26 November. The episode will be released shortly afterward on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Plastic.Climate.Future brings together innovators, industry professionals, researchers and climate-focused voices to address one of today’s most urgent challenges: understanding how plastics contribute to climate change and how they can be part of meaningful solutions. The podcast’s mission centres on enabling engagement between two groups that care deeply about the future of plastics: those working inside the plastics and packaging industry, and those advocating for climate action and systemic change. By creating a space for dialogue, the platform seeks common ground where collaboration can drive real progress.
MAGNO’s participation aligns with this objective. The project works to transform EU food packaging systems through sustainable strategies, scientific evidence and circular innovation, all topics that sit firmly within the conversation on climate impact, resource use and the future role of plastics.
Taking part in the podcast will allow MAGNO to share insights on packaging sustainability, reflect on societal and regulatory expectations, and contribute to a wider public discussion that recognises both the challenges and the potential pathways forward.
Once the episode is published, we will add the link here and share it across our social media channels. Stay tuned!
