Bio4Pack Cluster Webinar: Degradation Pathways in Circular Packaging

On 16 November 2026 at 10:00 CET, the Bio4Pack Cluster will organise a webinar focused on different degradation pathways relevant to circular materials and packaging.
The session will bring together contributions from the four Horizon Europe projects involved in the cluster: MAGNO, ViSS, REBIOLUTION and STOPP.
The webinar will explore different scientific and technological approaches to material degradation, covering three main topics:
- Biodegradation and bio-based materials
- Degradation of microplastics and emerging contaminants through Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) and photocatalysis
- Thermal degradation
By bringing together these complementary approaches, the webinar will provide an opportunity to better understand material behaviour, degradation processes and end-of-life challenges in circular packaging.
