MAGNO on Zenodo: Sharing Knowledge for Impact
At MAGNO, we believe research should be accessible to everyone — not locked behind paywalls or hidden in technical silos. That’s why we’ve created a dedicated Zenodo repository where you can explore and download all of our publicly available outputs.
Why Zenodo?
Zenodo is a trusted platform used by thousands of EU-funded projects. It allows researchers and institutions to store, share, and preserve their work in a FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) way.
For projects like MAGNO, which aim to create impact beyond academic circles, Zenodo serves as a bridge between research and society — helping stakeholders, professionals, and the general public access and reuse knowledge.
Whether you’re a policymaker seeking evidence-based recommendations, a company exploring sustainable packaging innovations, or a student researching circular economy, our Zenodo community makes it easy to find and explore MAGNO’s work.
What you’ll find in our repository:
-
Scientific reviews and publications
-
Practice abstracts summarizing practical and policy-relevant insights
-
Flyers and outreach materials tailored to different audiences
-
Dissemination and technical documents from the project
New on Zenodo: Exploring Sustainability Through Business Models
One of the latest additions to the MAGNO repository is the scientific review:
“Food packaging business models as drivers for sustainability in the food packaging industry”, written by Juan Antonio Pavón Losada, Maite Ferrando, Valeria Moncada, Luigi Operato, Leonardo Gomes, Phil Rosenow, and Wael Hamd.
The article explores how innovative business models — including Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) and reusable/returnable packaging systems — can reduce environmental impact and support the transition to a circular economy in food packaging. It also reflects on how consumer behavior, regulation, and technology influence the way packaging is designed and used.
