Horizon Europe Info Days – Cluster 6: Funding Opportunities for the Future of Food, Bioeconomy and Environment
The Horizon Europe Cluster 6 Info Days will take place online on 20–21 May 2025, offering a comprehensive overview of funding opportunities for research and innovation in the areas of food systems, bioeconomy, agriculture, natural resources, and the environment.
At MAGNO we believe this event is highly relevant for our community and for anyone working to build a more sustainable and circular future in Europe. These sessions are a valuable opportunity to better understand upcoming funding calls, policy priorities, and strategies for success in the Horizon Europe framework.
What to Expect
The event will include:
- A plenary session on the strategic context of Cluster 6 within Horizon Europe.
- A “Key to Success” session with guidance for submitting strong project proposals.
- Topic-specific sessions aligned with the 2025 Work Programme, including food systems, biodiversity, circular economy, zero pollution, climate action, digital governance, and more.
- A final session dedicated to COFUND partnerships.
All sessions are online, in English, and will be livestreamed directly on the official platform. Questions can be submitted in advance via Sli.do.

Why It Matters
At MAGNO, we see this as more than just an event — it’s a chance to stay aligned with the evolving priorities of European research and innovation.
For those of us working at the intersection of food systems, packaging, circular economy, and environmental sustainability, understanding the funding landscape is essential to driving impact. Even without direct participation, events like these offer valuable context, visibility into future trends, and new collaborative possibilities.
If you’re interested in applying to Horizon Europe or aligning your work with EU priorities, we encourage you to explore this event.
