MAGNO at IPACK-IMA 2025: Innovation and Sustainability at the Heart of the Future of Food Packaging

The MAGNO project will be taking part in the upcoming edition of IPACK-IMA 2025, one of the most important international trade fairs focused on processing and packaging technologies and materials for both the food and non-food sectors. The event will take place from 27 to 30 May 2025 at Fiera Milano, and will serve as a key platform to anticipate industry trends and foster new business and research opportunities.

IPACK-IMA offers a comprehensive and cross-sector overview of the packaging industry, targeting the entire fast-moving consumer goods and durable goods ecosystem. It places particular focus on four key markets: grain-based products, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and the fresh & convenience food sector.

In this context, MAGNO will present its progress in digital innovation for sustainable food packaging, in a session dedicated to exploring how new technologies can support the reduction of environmental impact in the packaging industry. The presentation will take place on 28 May, from 10:00 to 11:00, and will be delivered by our colleagues Jessica Genovese, Luigi Operato, Wael Hamd, Phil Rosenow, and Ignacio Fernández-Pacheco Ruiz, who will share the consortium’s vision and the collaborative work being developed within the project.
