EuPC is the professional representative body of plastics converters in Europe, whose activity embraces all sectors of the plastics converting industry, including recycling. Founded in 1989 and based in Brussels, EuPC represents 28 national associations and 18 sectoral organisations, forming a powerful voice for the European plastics converters industry. Health, safety, and sustainability are key issues for EuPC, as well as the steady supply of raw materials and a well-functioning internal market.
EuPC’s team holds extensive expertise in the regulatory landscape within the plastics field. This knowledge allows the organisation to play a crucial role in numerous EU-funded projects, providing valuable contributions toward the development of policy recommendations. EuPC excels in identifying pertinent policies and in strategising on how projects can effectively advance towards achieving circular economy goals. Additionally, EuPC actively engages in communication and dissemination activities across various projects, ensuring that insights and progress are shared widely within the industry and beyond.

Therefore, EuPC’s will lead the efforts related to Consumer acceptance and Innovative circular business models, with a specific focus on the activities concerning consumer perception. Thanks to its wide public outreach, EuPC will be able to gather opinions from a wide range of consumers, belonging to several categories of focus groups to learn about consumers’ experience with different types of packaging and how it affects their perception of the product.
EuPC, its members, and the plastics converting industry are constantly working together with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the best possible progress of the circular economy, recognising the excellent opportunity that the circular economy goals offer to reinvent the industry, making it more sustainable and competitive.
