VITAL WORKSHOP: Learning Factory on Bio-based Thermoplastics

Registration is now open for the upcoming VITAL Learning Factory on Bio-based Thermoplastics Processing and Material Reprocessing.

This training will share the knowledge and insights developed by the VITAL consortium over three years of research, offering participants both conceptual and practical skills to apply in sustainable manufacturing.

What to expect

• Morning (online & in-person): classroom learning on biobased thermoplastics and foaming, fundamentals of Foam Injection Moulding (FIM), biomaterial recycling strategies, digital control strategies for FIM (developed by Idener), and industrial applications.
• Afternoon (in-person only): a hands-on practical demonstration at PIEP, Guimarães.
