The ECESP Annual Conference 2026
April 22 @ 08:30 – April 23 @ 19:30
MAGNO at the ECESP Annual Conference 2026: Advancing a Competitive and Fair Circular Europe
The MAGNO project will be represented at the upcoming ECESP Annual Conference 2026, one of the key European events shaping the future of the circular economy.
The conference, titled “A competitive and fair circular Europe: The ambition at the heart of the single market”, will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, financial actors and civil society to discuss the next steps in Europe’s transition towards circularity.
A key moment for EU circular economy policy
The event takes place at a crucial time, as the European Union prepares the Circular Economy Act (CEA), expected to become a cornerstone of the EU’s circular economy framework. The Act aims to strengthen the Single Market for circular products and services while addressing fragmentation and scaling up sustainable solutions across Europe.
Discussions will also connect the CEA with broader initiatives such as the EU Bioeconomy Strategy, as well as the financial, regulatory and societal conditions needed to enable a truly circular and competitive economy.
MAGNO’s participation
MAGNO will be represented at the conference by Dr. Alejandra Pita Milleiro (IDENER), who will attend in representation of the project.
Her participation will contribute to ongoing discussions around sustainable packaging, circular value chains and the role of innovation and data-driven approaches in supporting systemic change.
